Laundry Detergent Packs - Free & Clear

For a medium load of laundry, use one Seventh Generation laundry detergent pack. For a large or heavily soiled load, use two Seventh Generation laundry detergent packs. Place the pack(s) into the empty washer drum before loading laundry. Always follow garment care label instructions. Reseal package and store in a dry place, out of reach of children and pets. Do not handle packs with wet hands. 

Seventh generation free & clear laundry detergent packs are made for sensitive skin. They have passed clinical tests and are formulated without fragrance ingredients. As with all products, always use as directed. 

Yes, Seventh Generation laundry detergent packs are compatible with HE machines. 

SVG has formulated our products to work in both hot and cold wash conditions. To ensure you get the best results, make sure to place the laundry pack in the laundry drum BEFORE adding your laundry. This helps make sure the pack will come into contact with water, dissolve – and fight those stains! 

No, Seventh Generation does not use optical brighteners for several reasons. Optical brighteners are synthetic chemicals that make fabrics appear to glow in the presence of ultraviolet light. They don't have anything to do with getting things clean -- they're only added to detergents to make us think our laundry is brighter and whiter than it really is. They're no fun for the environment either. Optical brighteners washed down our drains frequently survive wastewater treatment and escape into our lakes, rivers, and streams. Once there, they don’t completely biodegrade.
