Laundry Detergent Packs - Fresh Lavender

For a medium load of laundry, use one Seventh Generation laundry detergent pack. For a large or heavily soiled load, use two Seventh Generation laundry detergent packs. Place the pack(s) into the empty washer drum before loading laundry and follow garment care label instructions. Reseal package and store in a dry place, out of reach of children and pets. Do not handle packs with wet hands. 

Yes, Seventh Generation laundry detergent packs are compatible with HE machines. 

Seventh Generation has formulated our products to work in both hot and cold wash conditions. To ensure you get the best results, make sure to place the laundry pack in the laundry drum BEFORE adding your laundry. This helps make sure the pack will come into contact with water, dissolve – and fight those stains! 

No, Seventh Generation does not use optical brighteners for several reasons. Optical brighteners are synthetic chemicals that make fabrics appear to glow in the presence of ultraviolet light. They don't have anything to do with getting things clean -- they're only added to detergents to make us think our laundry is brighter and whiter than it really is. Designed to intentionally remain behind on our clothes and linens, optical brighteners can rub off on our skin where they may cause a reaction that looks like sunburn. They're no fun for the environment either. Optical brighteners washed down our drains frequently survive wastewater treatment and escape into our lakes, rivers, and streams. Once there, they accumulate in fish.

Yes. Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent Packs are gluten free. Seventh Generation has implemented a testing program to verify our cleaning product formulations are gluten-free (<10ppm). We would like to mention that gluten related allergies are usually triggered by the consumption of food products. Some consumers are willing to use gluten free products not only for their food but for other products that potentially enter in contact with foods or with skin; our products respond to such consumer preferences.
