I'm a 26 yr old college student majoring in sociology. I love reading, learning (I'd be a full time student for the rest of my life if I could!) and handmade soap. I don't eat meat for a variety of reasons, but my big 3 are my concern for the environment, my health and needless suffering. I'm slowly incorporating more environmentally friendly habits into my life, but I have a long way to go. The city I live in isn't exactly the most progressive or green but there are people here trying to change that. I would love to see it become more pedestrian/bike friendly, although our long (and I mean LONG) winters tend to deter walking/biking for a large portion of the year.
