I have always been interested in trying to be as "green" as possible, but since I had my daughter I've become much more serious about it. Not only am I concerned about how my actions affect the environment, but also how my actions affect the health of my family. Since eliminating as many toxins from our household, I have reduced my headaches and my daughter's allergy problems. I am also interested in healthy, organic foods and using fair trade products. This summer it is my goal to greatly reduce our carbon footprint by riding our bikes and buying local produce from the farmer's markets. Since we live in Green Bay, we are unable to do this year round, but while the weather permits, we are going to do as much as possible to reduce our carbon emissions AND save some money on gasoline!!!
