Seventh Generation Foundation
Since Seventh Generation’s inception, we’ve acted on the belief that businesses can be powerful instruments of meaningful change and we have given generously to organizations that make the world a better place. To support this mission, we formalized our giving program in 2012 with the formation of the Seventh Generation Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to care today for seven generation's of tomorrows by stewarding social and environmental progress in the communities in which we live, work and do business through education, environmental conservation, research and advocacy.
About the Foundation
We aspire to achieve the Foundation's mission by making grants to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations that promote and improve environmental conservation, the sustainable use of natural resources, human health and social welfare. The Foundation operates two grant programs:
- The Sustainability Grants program: We support US based organizations working to bring about positive change and sustainable solutions by forwarding the social and environmental goals we have as a business.
- The Vermont Community Building Grants: We support Vermont organizations working to help future generations thrive by making a positive and lasting difference in children's lives through progress in education and human and environmental health.
Seventh Generation will also continue to provide product donations to approved non-profits aligned with our values. Requests for product donations are reviewed monthly.
This invitation-only program funds experts working to address social and environmental issues of our time.
