7Gen Goes to Harvard
One big part of Seventh Generation's mission is to help the wider business community move to a model of deeper business purpose, where bottom-line growth is merged with making a difference in the world. We are taking another step in furthering our mission by contributing our hard-won ideas and insights to a new blog from Harvard Business Publishing.
Titled “Leading Green,” the blog is a vibrant, virtual water cooler for emerging leaders worldwide who want to create sustainable business strategies. It’s a gathering place for people to engage and challenge each other on how best to develop greener products and services and bring a values-driven ethos into their companies and their personal lives. You can read our first post, on transparency, right here. We will contribute additional posts for the next few months, on a bi-weekly basis.
One of the things we like best about Leading Green is that it’s aimed particularly at the next generation of business leaders — people who believe that profits are simply the score, not the game, and who want to contribute their energy and talent to mission-driven companies. Perhaps they can learn from our mistakes! The blog has drawn an all-star cast of contributors, including Bill McKibben, Andrew Winston, and David Wigder. We invite you to check it out — and to let Leading Green (and us) know what you think.

Thanks for sharing. It's a great resource.
