Laundry Detergent and HE Machines
Posted June 3rd, 2008 by trostka4I'm new to the 7th Gen. Product Line as well as the "green scene." I've been trying to incorporate it into my every day life. We just had an High Efficiency Washer and Dryer installed in our apartment (we're poor college kids trying to do our part). Does the 7th Gen detergent work with HE washers? and we were thinking about switching the dishwasher as well does it work there too?
All of our Laundry Liquids are formulated to work in both standard and HE machines. Our new 2X concentrates are also formulated to work in both standard and HE machines. Please be sure to follow the directions on the label.
For all of our laundry detergents, you will be able to determine that the formula is acceptable when you see a blue oval symbol with "HE" in the lower right front of the package. If the symbol is not on the package, it should not be used in HE machines.
Our HE formulated laundry detergents can be used in all home washing machines and Laundromats.
For dishwashers, you will want to use Dishwasher Detergent.
