Can Baby Wipes be Used for General Cleaning?

Posted June 3rd, 2008 by tlesser

Hi-
I love the 7th generation baby wipes and I'm wondering if it makes sense to try to disinfect things that baby comes in contact with using these wipes. For example, I know some infections pass between babies using the same restaurant high chairs and I've been wiping the wood with these baby wipes. Will they work to protect her this way? If not, what other green products do you suggest for this?
Thanks,
Tanya

This response directly relates to your question; I think you'll find it helpful.

Beyond claims of disinfecting though, I think its up to you to determine whether you find that they work well for you personally. You might have to experiment and see how they perform compared to what you currently use.

Hope that helps!

Our baby wipes have been tested on babies to ensure they do not irritate their sensitive skin. While we believe our formula to be gentle and effective, they have not been tested in all situations, including household cleaning and feminine hygiene.

I hope this further helps to answer your query!
